Behavior Analyst
Panhandle Behavioral Services, LLC is currently hiring for a Behavior Analyst (BCBA/BCaBA) position in Pensacola, FL to provide Applied Behavior Analysis services to children with behavioral health needs and families that are participating in the child welfare system. Due to the agency's partnership with Northwest Florida Health Network (NWFHN) and the Department of Children and Families, the position is a unique blend of ABA, social services, and child welfare. Panhandle Behavioral Services provide high quality Trauma Informed Care that delivers meaningful outcomes for children and families while placing an emphasis on work/life balance, family, and the wellbeing of their providers. Previous professional experience in child-welfare is not needed.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home and community-based sessions with clients and their families (primarily afternoon hours)
- Collect, analyze, and graph data on target behaviors
- Complete Functional Behavior Assessments
- Develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans
- Provide training to parents and caregivers on Behavior Intervention Plans
- Supervise RBTs and monitor performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field, Masters is preferred
- Experience providing client sessions in-home and in community settings (school, day care, etc.) is preferred
- Active status as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). Bachelor level clinicals in pursuit of their BCaBA certifications will be considered as well
- Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve in the moment
- Ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Reliable transportation for travel to client sessions
