IT / Systems Analyst
Panhandle Express is a family-owned business headquartered in Hereford, TX and a premier supplier of transportation and logistics for the livestock feeding industry in the Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and New Mexico region. We have both company drivers and owner operators using a diverse fleet of modern tractors pulling pneumatic, end dump, belly dump, walking floor, belt floor, and hopper trailers. Job Description:
We are now taking applications for an IT/Telematics/API/Systems Analyst. This position is reasonable for the administration and oversight of IT, Telematics, API, and company operational analysis, reporting, and specific regulatory tasks. This candidate will also maintain strict compliance to company, FMCSA, DOT, state, and local regulatory policies and procedures. While maintaining the highest ethical standards in handling company affairs in a manner that meets our commitment to absolute quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
Specific Duties:
- Installing and maintaining tractor Camera system relays and software
- point person for all company IT systems, interfaces, updates, security, breakdowns, and other technological concerns regarding hardware and software. Maintaining employee workstations, VOIP (Voice Over Internet Phone System), printers, scanners, door key codes, etc. (troubleshoot, evaluate, perform minor repairs.
- Running, auditing, and reconciling daily reports.
Job Qualifications:
- This position requires the employee to be able to efficiently multi-task.
- Be detail oriented and perform their duties in a timely and accurate fashion
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Efficiently and accurately input data, make revisions, utilize Frontline, and TruckSpy software
- Efficient collaboration with shop personnel, third party vendor representatives, accounting team
- Patience and professional communication with all staff, drivers, and third-party vendors is expected
Minimal absences and strict adherence to set work schedules are crucial to the success of this position.
Education:
- High School Diploma and or equivalent
Experience:
Prior experience in transportation logistics and/or Information Technology Systems is preferred.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
