What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Operations Specialist position at Panhandle Milling?
As a Production Operator I at Panhandle Milling, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production process. Your primary responsibility will be to package finished products in bags efficiently and accurately. This is a 3rd shift role, working from 11pm to 7am.
This position requires strong organizational and multitasking skills, as you will need to set up and monitor finished package weights, check the precision of the packer scale, and ensure that finished product is bagged, sealed, and palletized properly. You will also be responsible for pulling samples of product throughout the run and performing metal detector checks on a scheduled basis.
