Summary
The Production Associate is responsible for performing manual operations and working across several key production processes necessary to meet the targets, needs and schedules handed down from the Production Manager to the respective Production Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Education and/or experience consisting of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year assembly experience
- Experience with painting and curing, desired
- Mechanically inclined
- Must have good attendance & punctuality history, and be reliable
- Fluent and effective in English written and verbal communications, bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to learn new processes and techniques quickly
- Ability to learn new measurement tools and techniques
- Must possess basic math skills with ability to expand to more complicated calculations
- Ability to learn and interpret blueprints and sketches
- Must be able to learn and interpret inspection checklists and required quality documentation
- Basic understanding of measurement units including liquids.
- Able to work under pressure in fast-paced environment to meet schedules .
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Masking parts per plan instructions
- Detailed cleaning for assembly and painting
- Ability to follow controlled curing process per plan instructions
- Deburrs and polishes components per planning instructions
- Reworks parts per engineering dispositions
- Recommend process improvements
- Provide feedback on training
- Participate in cause and corrective action process
- Working long hours and weekends is expected
- Read and interpret documents such as: (a) safety rules, (b) operation and maintenance instructions, (c) procedure instructions, (d) complex blueprints, (e) work order documents
- Occasional travel for training and/or production support as necessary
- Follows PPE rules and policies
- Sets up conventional lathes for OD/ID polishing operations
- Familiar with and follows HAZMAT rules, policies, and procedures
- Know and execute PAS Management system procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
