What Our Client Needs :
Our client is seeking a Lead Data Architect to direct the design and development of the data architecture underlying their suite of products. This role will focus on evolving the current architecture to support planned product growth, positioning the organization for future success. The Lead Data Architect will work collaboratively across teams to shape and execute data strategies that ensure performance, scalability, and security.
What You'll Do :
- Create comprehensive conceptual, logical, and physical data models using appropriate normalization and denormalization techniques to minimize redundancy, ensure data consistency, and meet performance goals.
- Analyze data flow across the product suite and with third-party integration partners to optimize data pipelines.
- Evaluate and recommend database technologies based on performance, scalability, and data volume requirements, including cloud-based data storage and processing options.
- Define data access controls, encryption methods, and data protection strategies to safeguard sensitive information.
- Recommend and implement monitoring tools to identify data quality issues, performance bottlenecks, and potential data security risks.
- Analyze and improve database queries to enhance data retrieval performance.
What You'll Need :
This is a fully remote role but we are looking for someone within commuting distance to Exton, PA for an occasional on-site meeting (potentially once per quarter).
