Qualifications
- Ability to safely and effectively manage limbs overhanging conductors
- Good working knowledge of all equipment essential to position including trim lifts, chipper, split dump, and various hydraulic & chainsaws
- Qualified line clearance trimmer with a minimum of 12 months experience in the industry
- Able to perform basic pruning and removals
- Safely and efficiently operates the equipment necessary for the position including chainsaws and chippers
- Meets or exceeds all conditions and abilities of lower positions
- Thorough knowledge of proper pruning technique (natural and directional pruning)
- Able to identify and recognize characteristics of the majority of the tree species in region of employment
