About the Role:
This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Vice President of Student Services. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of community college admissions processes and excellent leadership skills. They will oversee the Admissions Office, including hiring, training, and performance management of staff. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate data entry, evaluating transcripts, and developing recruitment strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Admissions Office and personnel
- Maintain ApplyTexas and designated Residency Determination Official
- Oversee Jenzabar One (J1) admissions module
- Ensure front-end data entry accuracy for admissions, test scores, high school, and college transcripts
- Evaluate incoming transcripts for college transfer students
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies
Qualifications:
- Master's degree required
- At least 3 years' experience in an Admissions Office setting
- Strong understanding of community college admissions processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with a student information system (Jenzabar) and Docubase systems preferred
