POSITION TITLE: Vice President of Instruction
LOCATION: Panola College, Carthage, Texas
EMPLOYMENT TERM: Full-time, 12-month position
BEGINNING DATE: Negotiable
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Vice President of Instruction (VPI) is a key executive leadership position at Panola College,
reporting directly to the College President. The VPI is responsible for the overall planning,
operation, and assessment of the College's instructional programs, ensuring student success, faculty
excellence, and institutional effectiveness. This role provides strategic oversight for academic
affairs, curriculum development, faculty recruitment and development, accreditation compliance,
and enrollment management. The VPI works closely with other college executives to formulate
policies and make high-level decisions that align with the College’s mission and goals. A complete

QUALIFICATIONS:
A master’s degree from an accredited institution is required; an earned doctorate is preferred.
Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in higher education leadership,
academic administration, or instructional oversight
COMPENSATION:
The salary offered will be commensurate with educational background and work experience.
