As Senior Director of ASC Operations at Panorama Eyecare, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver the best eyecare. The Role:
The Senior Director of ASC Operations oversees the operations, compliance growth, and strategy of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) within a specific market or region. This role requires a dynamic leader adept at multitasking, from ensuring the delivery of top-notch patient care, to managing financial performance, and supporting marketing initiatives. With a deep understanding of healthcare, this role will direct the staff and programs of the ambulatory services department, lead teams, foster relationships with medical professionals, optimize ASC operations, and champion the brand's vision in the market. This individual will also be responsible for staying updated with industry trends, regulations, and technologies, ensuring that the practices they oversee remain at the forefront of ophthalmic care and service. This will serve as the region’s primary liaison with corporate leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement growth strategies within the approved standards and guidelines for ambulatory services and programs within the designated market, aligning with the broader organizational goals.
- Operational Management: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all ASC locations, optimizing patient flow, resource allocation, and clinic efficiency.
- Financial Oversight: Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, and ensuring profitability of each ASC.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and mentor ASC managers and staff, ensuring ongoing professional development and high employee engagement.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure that all ASCs adhere to industry standards, regulations, and best practices to deliver consistent, high-quality patient care, including management of ASC accreditations.
- Marketing & Branding: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the brand within the market, ensuring a consistent brand message and maximizing patient acquisition.
- Relationship Building: Foster and maintain relationships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other medical professionals, facilitating collaborative partnerships and referrals.
- Performance Analysis: Continuously evaluate the performance of each practice through key metrics, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Patient Experience: Ensure that all practices prioritize patient satisfaction, resolving any patient concerns or feedback promptly and effectively.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest Ambulatory Services industry trends, technologies, and best practices, ensuring the practices remain competitive.
- Vendor & Supply Chain Management: Work with operations leadership in the negotiation of vendor agreements as well as ensure that supply chain logistics are efficient and cost-effective.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges, creating contingency plans and strategies to address them.
- Community Engagement: Represent the brand in community events and initiatives, bolstering its reputation and outreach in the local market.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives across ASCs, driving efficiency and elevating patient care standards.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on the market's performance, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring alignment with overarching organizational objectives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Proficiency with MS Office products and EMRs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field required.
- Minimum 5 years healthcare experience required, experience in ophthalmology preferred.
- Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MHA, and RN).
- Professional experience in managing multiple medical practices.
- Experience leading AAAHC reaccreditation, Joint Commission and CMS surveys and audits required.
Additional Job Details:
- Travel between ASCs is required (Cheyenne, Fort Collins, and Denver).
- This is a Full-Time Position.
- Compensation for this role will be $135k - $155k based on experience/certification.
- This role is eligible for a 12% annual incentive.
