The Position :
The Provider Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in strengthening Panorama Eyecare's (PEC) relationships with referring healthcare providers, with a strategic focus on growing the surgery pipeline. This position is responsible for developing and nurturing referral networks, coordinating continuing education (CE) events, and fostering collaboration between PEC and its professional partners. By building trust and facilitating effective communication, the Provider Marketing Specialist ensures sustainable growth in patient referrals and enhances PEC's reputation in the healthcare community; this role is ultimately responsible for managing approximately $2-4M in annual revenue.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement strategies for increasing referrals and expanding the patient pipeline.
- Address concerns or challenges expressed by referring providers to ensure a positive partnership experience.
- Develop tailored outreach initiatives to strengthen relationships with high-potential referral sources.
- Regularly analyze referral trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute PEC-hosted CE events for optometrists and other healthcare professionals to enhance professional education and foster stronger connections.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, speaker coordination, material preparation, and attendee registration.
- Promote CE events through targeted marketing efforts to ensure maximum participation and engagement.
- Collect and analyze feedback from events to continually improve the attendee experience and relevance of educational content.
- Partner with internal clinical and administrative teams to align referral efforts with PEC's goals and priorities.
- Coordinate meetings and communications for new provider introductions and clinic updates.
- Serve as a liaison between referral partners and PEC teams to address concerns, resolve issues, and improve the referral experience.
- Track and report on referral activities, event outcomes, and relationship-building efforts, providing actionable insights and KPIs to leadership.
- Maintain detailed records of provider interactions, referral trends, and event participation to support strategic planning.
- Assist in creating and implementing processes to enhance the efficiency of referral management and relationship-building activities.

Healthcare Knowledge : Familiarity with optometry, ophthalmology, or surgical care is preferred to better understand the needs of providers and the services offered.
