Early Learning Academies is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional/leader to join our team. We are a fast-paced, growing company and are seeking an HR professional who can partner with our operations across multiple states to provide administrative and consultative support to our network of childcare academies. This role is far from one dimensional and you will undertake a wide range of HR tasks and responsibilities from day-to-day tactical to operational. You are a true business partner with operations. This position will be 95% remote with some site visits
Open to residences of AZ, TX, MO & GA
Responsibilities
- The HR Business Partner works collaboratively with Academy/Center leaders and functional teams such as operations, payroll, and accounting to address all areas from recruiting, employee relations, performance management and project implementation. New Hire paperwork, including offer letter generation and entry into HRIS
- Promote HR programs to support our Core Values and create an efficient workplace
- Assist in development and implementation of HR policies
- Build solid relationships with our Educational Centers’ leadership to provide sound performance management
- Respond to claims for unemployment, workers’ compensation, disability, and leaves of absence
- Advise supervisors and staff on employee relations matters
- Conduct FLSA, EEO, and other audits
- Ensures compliance with all necessary company policies and state/federal regulations
- Support worker’s compensation issues and ADA
- Support the HR infrastructure development
- Provide ad-hoc training and development to filed operations managers
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or the equivalent experience and education in HR
- PHR or SPHR certification or completion of relevant certificate program preferred
- Seven years human resources experience, including employee relations, HRIS, performance management, and compensation
- Excellent working knowledge of employment laws
- Self-starter and able to research HR issues
- Knowledge of workers compensation and sick leave laws
- Experience with at least one HRIS
- Experience navigating the Human Resources function during acquisitions
- Experience building relationships across multiple states
- Outstanding computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Keen aptitude in problem-solving
- Strong time management skills
Willingness to travel locally up to 20% of the time

The annual starting salary for this position is 75,000-85,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Paid Time Off: The amount of Paid Time Off (PTO) employees accrue is determined by both their position and the length of their employment term. 19 days of paid time off for 12-month roles.

We offer plans with set co-pays for certain medical services, as well as a high deductible plan with set co-insurance levels after deductibles have been met.
