What You'll Do
The Configuration Management (CM) Analyst establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation. This role will also review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, and manufacturing data control activities.
The CM Analyst will establish baseline configurations, document configuration requirements, ensure the establishment of configuration identification, ensure modifications are managed through a formal change and work control process, and assess both physical configuration and associated documentation. They will also ensure CM principles are executed over the entire lifecycle of the configuration item.
The position will also plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, equipment specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Analyzes project documentation to ensure successful turnover of project documents to end users and subject matter experts. Coordinates modification records for management control.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline from an accredited program with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
- OR a Master's degree in a technical or business-related discipline from an accredited program with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- OR a PhD with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- OR applicants with a high school diploma or equivalent may be considered on an exceptional basis with 17 or more years of relevant experience
Preferred Job Requirements
- At least 10 years job related experience
- Ability to provide frequent communication and interactions with variety of customers, both internal and external
- Ability to present information clearly and effectively through oral and written word

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
