What You'll Do
This candidate will be responsible to develop and implement multiple workforce assurance initiatives for a vast and diverse Engineering workforce. In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement Engineering retention initiatives and soft skill training sets to enhance employee retention
- Collaborate with Engineering leadership to develop targeted university partnerships to elevate recruitment activities that enhance Pantex Engineering capability
- Coordinate Engineering participation with the NNSA Military Academic Collaboration (MAC) program for the United States Service Academies – USMA, USNA, USAFA, USCGA, USMMA
- Re-initiate and implement Engineering College Pre-Hire program
- Support staffing activities for assigned departments
- These activities, on behalf of engineering managers, include processing requisitions, attending career fairs, participating in interviews, overseeing and supporting other pre-hire and new hire integration initiatives
- Collaborate in development, maintenance, and analysis of workforce assurance metrics for recruitment, retention, development, and progression of the Engineering workforce
- Respond to engineering leadership direction covering all aspects of Engineering workforce assurance to include data calls, requests for information, and other reporting techniques
- Develop and implement initiatives that improve other assigned programs
The selected candidate will seek an appropriate range of complex activities that enable and encourage further professional development through the application of technical expertise and organizational acumen.
This position is accountable to the Engineering Technical Operations Business Interface Director. Primary interfaces include Engineering management, Human Resources, Financial & Business Operations and Program Integration.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Typical relevant experience ranging from 7 to 10 years
- OR Master's degree with a minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- OR PhD with 0 years of relevant experience
- OR applicants with a high school diploma or equivalent may be considered on an exceptional basis with 13 or more years of relevant experience

- Experience supporting complex technical, financial, or resource programs

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
