What You'll Do
The Program and Incident Manager combines responsibilities for managing large-scale projects or programs within the IT Service Management organization, alongside the task of overseeing incident response when operational disruptions occur; essentially, managing both strategic initiatives and real-time crisis situations, requiring strong communication and coordination skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
- Monitor aging incidents throughout the organization and engage incident owners and/or leadership for status updates to resolution
- Monitor incidents to identify potential trends or issues before they escalate into major incidents and downtime
- Lead response to critical incidents to help identify root causes and coordinate necessary teams to resolve issues quickly
- Monitor aging tasks throughout the organization and engage task owners and/or leadership for status updates to completion
- Monitor tasks to identify potential broken workflows and partner with the ServiceNow team and stakeholders to correct the catalog tasks
- Manage assets and inventory for the IT Division to include lifecycle devices and new capabilities
- Track assets from cradle to grave to ensure that we meet all DOE requirements
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by providing professional, courteous, timely, competent, and responsive service
- High degree of independence and utilize sound decision-making skills while working under pressure of deadlines
- High level of organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and proficient in utilizing office equipment
- Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external contacts in a professional manner, and with integrity and respect
- Knowledge and experience in managing and tracking tangible inventory utilizing appropriate tools

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
