What You'll Do
The Pantex Plant is looking for an experienced auditor to lead and perform subcontract audits with moderate supervision.
The subcontract auditor will determine whether costs proposed or incurred are accurate, properly supported, allowable/allocable, and reasonable in accordance with procurement regulations and subcontract terms. Subcontract audit activities could involve cost-reimbursement and labor-hour subcontracts, fixed-price subcontracts, termination claims; financial capability reviews, and accounting system reviews.
Detailed audit work will entail (1) lead the subcontract audit risk assessment (2) perform or delegate audit work and review work papers (3) evaluate subcontract audit related internal controls to ensure compliance with policies, plans, procedures, generally accepted accounting principles, laws, and contract provisions; (4) review operating costs incurred by the company or through subcontracting activities) to monitor allowability, allocability, and reasonableness; (5) be the POC between Internal Audit and Supply Chain Management on audit related activities.
Assist management with other ad hoc requests.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, General Business: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Relevant professional experience would include 4-10 years’ experience as an auditor or supply chain professional.
- Knowledge of and familiarity with various operating systems and software programs (e.g., ACL; SAP; and Team Mate).
- DCAA audit experience
- Familiarity with FAR and DEAR regulations
- A relevant certification such as CPA, CIA, CFE

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
