Position Overview
Pantheon Data is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer with a background in cloud-based systems who is technically proficient and eager to learn. A successful candidate should be detail-oriented with a history of hands-on DevOps / system administration experience. He / she will be able to communicate clearly and effectively with engineers as well as less technical team members (e.g., project managers, customers, executive teams).
Responsibilities
- Manage and automate software development operational processes accurately and securely within a cloud-based infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and streamline existing processes.
- Administer multiple customers' cloud environments simultaneously, ensuring appropriate redundancy and security compliance are maintained throughout.
- Provide Level 2 technical support, investigate and resolve issues.
- Build tools and automations to reduce errors and improve customer experience.
- Design and document procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Work within a growing engineering team to build and support technical solutions across customers and projects.
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and logging systems.
- Continuously improve the development process and infrastructure.

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
