Position Overview
Pantheon Data is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our team. As an integral part of our security management team, you will play a key role in overseeing the implementation and maintenance of a robust security program, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and safeguarding sensitive information across multiple programs. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary FSO, managing all aspects of security for classified programs and ensuring compliance with national security regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), NISPOM Rule (32 CFR Part 117), and other relevant directives.
- Administer day-to-day security operations for classified programs, including personnel processing, program reviews, document control, security audits, and incident reporting.
- Oversee security clearance management using DISS, including processing security clearance requests, tracking status, and handling investigations.
- Conduct annual self-inspections, identifying security risks, and ensuring all corrective actions are implemented to maintain compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Provide security training to all staff, ensuring that employees are well-informed of their roles in maintaining a secure facility and handling classified information appropriately.
- Act as the liaison between the organization and various government agencies, ensuring that all security measures align with customer needs and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of security systems, including access control, intrusion detection, and monitoring systems for secure areas such as SCIFs (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities).
- Review, process, and ensure compliance with DD254 forms, identifying necessary changes or clarifications.
- Collaborate with management to assess, analyze, and mitigate security risks, ensuring that security policies and procedures are continuously updated and effective.

Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience in a security-related field.
- Certification as a Facility Security Officer and comprehensive knowledge of DoD and Intelligence Community security regulations, including ICD 705 and NISPOM.
- Experience with DISS, NISS, and other security systems.
- Strong understanding of physical security systems, including access control, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.
- Demonstrated experience conducting security self-inspections and audits, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple security programs and ensuring compliance with both internal and external requirements.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with secure facility build-outs and the implementation of security systems for classified spaces.
- Accreditation or certifications related to Communication Security (COMSEC) or other security-related certifications.
- Familiarity with security compliance systems like ThreatSwitch, and HR systems such as iSolved People Cloud.
- Professional affiliations with security organizations such as ASIS or NCMS.
Clearance Requirements
Active Top Secret Clearance.

Leesburg, VA (Hybrid schedule with some in-office requirements)
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
