Position Overview
We are expanding our Financial Management Service Line to support exciting opportunities at Pantheon Data. We are seeking an Analyst to support our clients in identifying process risks, designing and assessing process controls, and implementing process improvements. In this role, you will work closely with federal clients to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in federal process improvement, risk management, and control assessments, while contributing to meaningful improvements in client operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the documentation and assessment of business processes, identifying key risks and evaluating the design and effectiveness of process controls.
- Develop and oversee the execution of control testing strategies, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance process efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and mitigate risks.
- Manage client engagements, serving as a key point of contact, facilitating discussions, and ensuring successful project execution.
- Guide teams in conducting research on regulatory guidance, industry standards, and emerging requirements to inform best practices.
- Oversee remediation efforts by advising clients on enhancing process controls and achieving compliance objectives.
- Supervise and mentor team members, fostering professional growth and ensuring high-quality work deliverables.
- Prepare and present reports, memos, and executive briefings to communicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 year of experience working in a professional services firm or within the industry.

U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance or higher.
- Deep understanding of federal business processes, including funds management, budget formulation and execution, receivables management, disbursements, property management, human resources, financial reporting, and grants management.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives and drive results.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting professional reports and presenting to executive leadership.
- Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and working paper documentation standards.
- Proven ability to conduct research on regulatory requirements, emerging trends, and best practices.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and lead collaborative project teams.
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance or higher.
Work Location - Hybrid - Arlington, VA

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $175,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
