Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Scrum Manager to lead a Salesforce scrum team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Agile methodologies, Salesforce (preferably Service Cloud), and a background in government projects. This role involves managing the Scrum process, ensuring effective collaboration, and delivering high-quality solutions on time.
Responsibilities
- Scrum Leadership: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Government Experience: Apply knowledge of government regulations and standards to ensure compliance in all project activities.
- Salesforce Expertise: Utilize understanding of Salesforce, especially one or more of the Sales, Service, Marketing or Experience Clouds, to guide the scrum best practices.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Proactively work to identify and resolve barriers to accomplishment of team outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement practices within the team, identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and progress reports.
Required Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Manager or Scrum Master, with specific experience in Salesforce projects.
- Government Experience: Proven experience in managing projects within a government environment.
- Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce, particularly any of the Service, Sales, Marketing or Experience Clouds, and familiarity with Agile project management tools such as JIRA or Trello. Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Advanced Certifications: Additional Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce System Administrator and Certified Service Cloud Consultant.
- Security Clearance: Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Work Location: Charlotte, NC - Remote

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $128,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
