Position Overview
We are seeking seasoned professionals Logistics Analyst with strong experience in integrated logistics management, business process modernization, and audit assessment within federal and military logistics systems. This role involves evaluating critical projects focused on Air Force logistics systems, leading compliance initiatives, and supporting the Air Force's strategic objectives through robust IT and logistics control assessments and system improvements.
Responsibilities
- Identify process risks and evaluate related controls to ensure compliance with federal standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for process improvements that enhance efficiency and mitigate risks effectively.
- Assist in logistics business process modernization efforts.
- Conduct research on regulatory guidance, industry standards, and emerging trends to inform best practices and ensure alignment with compliance frameworks.
- Contribute to the preparation of client deliverables, including memos, presentations, and other documentation, to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
- Provide support in various stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment.
- Work closely with team members, client personnel, and teaming partners to deliver collaborative, high-quality work.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a professional services firm or within the industry.
- Knowledge of logistics lifecycle management practices and DoD logistics data elements, processes, systems, and standards.
- Expertise with DoD and/or DHS logistics information systems.
- Expertise in business process improvement, root cause analysis, and designing future-state processes.
- Proven ability to work with and guide cross-functional teams, including developers, data analysts, and clients, to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to document processes, assess risks, and recommend improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise, professional reports and presentations.
- Ability to conduct independent research and contribute to solutions for complex challenges.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively on project teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience with military logistics management systems and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) data standards.
- Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS)
- Logistics Information Systems (LIS)
- Coast Guard Logistics Information Management System (CG-LIMS)
- Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability of Pods (RAMPOD)
- Web Federal Logistics Information System (WebFLIS)
- Federal Logistics Data (FED LOG)
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles, system architecture, and solution design.
- Familiarity with federal financial management and compliance standards.
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $150,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
