Purpose
The Senior Director, Analytics and Reporting assists stakeholders in the design, planning and implementation of data capabilities and solutions. Perform strategic platform design, including machine learning and AI, that will lead PANTHERx to a high level data platform. Leads and works in partnership with stakeholders across the organization to identify and evaluate data capabilities, new technologies, new applications, and new solutions to meet business needs in a cost-effective manner. Oversees, and/or consults on complex business problems, projects, and products particularly for new or shared solutions. Assists in leading efforts to ensure the company has the proper strategies, standards, and architecture in place to most efficiently and effectively deliver the next generation of our data and analytics strategy.

This position operates in a home or professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear and see. The employee frequently is required to stand, and walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and view a computer screen and extensive data. Responsibilities
- Initiates and leads company wide data processes improvements.
- Assists in developing and executing strategic plans and roadmaps.
- Leads the planning, development, and delivery of our next generation of data capabilities, including machine learning, AI, and emerging practices to improve patient engagement and outcomes.
- Successfully manages and leads direct reports to timely and quality outcomes.
- Leads cross-functional activities related to large-scale analytic projects to deliver on schedule, within budget and with superior quality.
- Develops and leads activities to accomplish overall strategic department goals and leads the communication of these goals to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborates with health plan leadership to understand their data analysis needs, explain trends in data and actively drive further research and/or operational changes to assist in PANTHERx clinical and business goals.
- Leads development efforts with technical team liaisons, including business requirements gathering and documentation, testing, delivery and user adoption, and effectively communicates deliverable expectations to the health plans and business units.
- Leads system/tool implementation and design as needed.
- Provides deliverables like standards, reference models and architecture designs to support evaluation and inclusion on the company technology roadmap.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical and technical expertise in developing business intelligence solutions/tools/reports.
- Ability to translate business needs into reporting solutions.
- Ten (10) years of experience in decision support and/or healthcare analytics, including clinical data, manufacturer reporting, cost accounting, service line profitability and dashboard reporting.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing director reports, including effective coaching, development and outcomes management.
- Working knowledge of leading cloud service provider offerings and services.
- Experience and understanding of Azure, AWS or other emerging analytic platforms.
- MBA in Computer Science or related field
