Purpose
This position is responsible for facilitating the full talent-acquisition cycle with a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively within and outside of the corporation. Serving as an advisor to hiring managers through the recruitment process, the Talent Acquisition Specialist ensures open communication and planning occurs to best support shared hiring goals. Supports the HR department as needed across all areas of Talent Acquisition, shared strategic goals and special projects. This is a hybrid position, commonly requiring an on-site presence once a week or as needed in response to demands.

This position operates in a home or professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, see, talk, or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Visual acuity is necessary for reading and significant screen time. Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Manager, Talent Acquisition, other HR Team members and hiring teams to develop recruitment and sourcing strategies.
- Serves as a primary talent partner, coordinating between Human Resources and hiring managers to develop selection criteria and effectively target appropriate candidates.
- Facilitates job postings and the full talent acquisition life-cycle via ADP Workforce Now or other sites as appropriate, and in alignment with best practices, policies and procedures.
- Develops and implements sourcing strategies aligned with PANTHERx’s HR and talent acquisition goals.
- Engages with potential candidates through social media, professional networks, and other platforms to create awareness and increase talent attraction.
- Conducts effective employment screenings with applicants of various professional levels, including management and specialized roles.
- Communicates with candidates and hiring managers thoroughly, accurately and in a timely manner regarding terms and conditions of employment, following process and appropriate parameters of confidentiality.
- Ensures that all recruitment information, including screening and interview notes, are reflected in candidate records. Coordinates with hiring managers to manage the same.
- Represents PANTHERx at external and internal recruitment functions at a high level of professionalism (i.e., career fairs, onsite events, etc.), and provides information about career opportunities in alignment with recruitment goals.
- Supports the HR department with talent acquisition reporting such as time to fill, acceptance/denial rates, applicant sources, cost to hire, etc.
- Ensures that accurate new hire information is provided to the HR Coordinator to facilitate timely background checks, drug testing and documentation.
- Assists with processing internal promotions as needed.
- Ensures process compliance in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Responds to employee questions and issues as they arise, referring questions to HR management or other HR team members as needed in a timely manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or other related degree required, or comparable combination of related education and experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year of recruitment experience required; three (3) years of prior experience preferred.
- Proactive and independent professional with a strong and demonstrated attention to details and the ability to adjust to changing deadlines.
- Experience sourcing talent and building proactive pipelines.
- Experience working with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Smart Sourcing, and/or other online networking platforms.
- Demonstrated experience with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) and HRIS systems required.
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional certification is a plus (PHR, SHRM-CP, PRC or CDR)
