Reports to: V.P. of Account Management
Purpose:
The Director of Implementation manages the overall design, buildout, and implementation of new business opportunities including new drug launches, new payer contracts, and new services. This role oversees any large-scale projects that need project management support. This position ensures that all new processes are documented in a standard and organized fashion for reference both internally and externally.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the launch process for all new drug and contract implementations.
- Builds Initial launch plans.
- Follows-up to assure all necessary teams are informed of requirements and are completing tasks on time.
- Updates senior leadership on all launch activities.
- Effectively remedies any project plans that jeopardize new program or service launch.
- Develops launch dashboard to inform the launch process.
- Leads the post-launch Stand Up Meeting.
- Provides post-launch dashboard to access success during the first 90-120 days.
- Participates in the launch build process to assist in content and operational development as requested.
- Builds and assembles documentation guides for each new drug launch.
- Processes guides, job aids, SWFT Documentation, reporting.
- Attends launch kickoff meetings with the manufacturer for agreed upon period.
- Adapts program as needed during agreed upon launch period.
- Leads governance process by coordinating to ensure correct information is obtained at each stage-gate for senior leadership to make appropriate decision.
- Maintains implementation calendar/schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with program management and specialty operations program design.
- 5 years of work experience in Specialty Pharmacy or similar industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of project management experience.
- Possess strong leadership skills and is interested in growth and development.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
