Job Description
We are seeking a fourth-year Audiology resident and an Audiologist/Hearing Instrument Specialist for full-time, on-site roles located in Reno, NV. Daily tasks will include performing hearing aid screenings and evaluations, fitting and dispensing hearing aids, providing rehabilitative and preventative counseling, and staying current with advancements in hearing healthcare technology. Additionally, the resident and specialist will be responsible for maintaining patient records and developing personalized care plans.
Qualifications
• Strong skills in hearing aid screenings, evaluations, fittings, and dispensing
• Experience and knowledge in rehabilitative and preventative counseling
• Up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in hearing healthcare
• Excellent patient management and record-keeping skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Audiology, Speech and Hearing Sciences, or a related field
• Fourth-year Audiology residents must be currently enrolled in an accredited Au.D. program
• Certification or licensure as an Audiologist/Hearing Instrument Specialist is required
