Job Title: Project Engineer
Duration: Direct Hire/Full Time
Location: Annandale or Chantilly, VA
Job Description:
Must have a B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
Must have at least one internship in the Land Development and Design Industry.
Through their internship, has at least some exposure to designing, preparing and processing land development applications.
Has working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
Has strong communication skills (verbal and written) and the willingness to contribute to a collaborative environment.
Must be receptive to feedback in order to make well-informed design decisions based on civil engineering concepts and locality requirements.
Contributes to the preparation of full sets of construction plans.
Must be detail oriented to ensure the excellence across all work products submitted to Project Managers.
Our Ideal Candidates who have 3-Years of Experience:
Must have a B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
Would preferably have EIT Certification, but not required.
Must have experience in designing, preparing and processing land development applications.
Must have experience in Northern Virginia jurisdictions.
Should have experience with Commercial, Residential and Mixed-use projects.
Must have the ability to make well-informed design decisions based on their knowledge of civil engineering concepts and locality requirements.
Must have proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
