Vulnerability management – assess vulnerabilities on the system. Must know systems very well – mostly linux and some windows systems.
Managing linux systems . They do vulnerability management from the top down, assess and determine vulnerabilities based on the assessments, priority, type of remediation required, follow up track it through JIRA.
Team size is currently 4 people on Vulnerability management. They use Rapid7.
Taking the results of the scans and processing the scans. Person needs to know CVEs and CIS benchmarks .
Some people know CVE’s very well but they don’t know systems. Blomberg needs someone who really knows linux systems and vulnerability management around linux systems.
