Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to join our dynamic team in a casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary arts, as well as the ability to manage both front-of-house staff and kitchen operations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
• Enforce food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen management to streamline service and enhance guest experience.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Train new employees in food service protocols, POS systems, and customer service best practices.
• Conduct interviews for potential front-of-house staff, contributing to team growth.

Skills

• Strong culinary knowledge with experience in food preparation and kitchen management.
• Proven shift management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and practices in a dining setting.
• Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing and payment handling.

• Experience in casual dining is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
