Papa Joe's Ristorante Italiano is a family-owned restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for a dedicated and personable Restaurant Server to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring special requests and dietary needs are communicated properly.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure all orders meet quality standards.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and wine pairings, to make recommendations.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately using the POS system.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant setting preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old (or as required by state law for serving alcohol).
- Basic knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines is a plus.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift trays of food or beverages for extended periods.
