SUMMARY
Responsible for providing customers with exceptional customer service and sales assistance in an efficient and courteous manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through friendly and informative sales service.
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing).
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing.
- Ensure displays are fully stocked and cleaned regularly.
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered.
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases.
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers.
- Receive and accurately process cash and credit card payments.
SKILLS
- Understanding of the retail sales process.
- Basic math skills.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships.
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments.
- Flexibility to various work shifts.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- One (1) year of smoke shop experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to:
- Stand, walk, sit, (up to 8 hours) balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Lift, push, pull and/or move objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.
