Assistant Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the business while maintaining a positive work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and an understanding of inventory management and some administrative tasks. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the team to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Lead and motivate team members to achieve performance goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Manage inventory levels by using the appropriate amount of each item for our products.
• Handle cash register operations, ensuring accurate transactions and maintaining cash control.
• Support recruiting efforts by participating in the hiring process and training new staff.
• Maintain effective phone etiquette when communicating with our customers.
• Perform administrative tasks such as reporting, and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with management and team to implement strategies for improving operational efficiency.

Experience

• Proven leadership experience in a retail or service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and best practices.
• Basic mathematical skills for managing cash transactions and inventory counts.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential for effective customer interaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
