Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
- Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries by being courteous and professional
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of all products
- Adhere to traffic laws and follow established delivery routes to meet delivery schedules
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks and keep delivery vehicles clean and organized
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery updates or issues
Requirements:
- Customer service skills to interact positively with customers during deliveries
- Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual transmission vehicles
- Capable of lifting heavy items and performing physical tasks associated with delivery duties
- Experience in warehouse operations or familiarity with refrigerated trailers is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience as a van driver or in tractor-trailer operations is advantageous
