We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other transportation equipment.
- Load and unload products, ensuring accurate handling of goods.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Utilize pallet jacks and forklifts as necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience with route driving and knowledge of local areas is preferred.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse environments and equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) as required by the job duties.
- Previous experience in courier or delivery services is preferred but not mandatory.
