About Us:
Llama Inn and Llama San, two of New York City’s most celebrated restaurants, are expanding! We’re thrilled to introduce Papa San, a Peruvian Izakaya opening in February 2025 at The Spiral building (34th Street & 10th Avenue). We are seeking a detail oriented and highly organized Operations Assistant to join our growing team.
Position: Operations Assistant
As an Operations Assistant, you will be a key player in supporting the Director of Operations in the financial, facilities, and HR functions of our dynamic restaurant. If you're a proactive problem solver with exceptional organizational skills, we’d love to hear from you!
Financial Responsibilities:
- Manage and review A/P invoices, ensuring timely uploads to accounting software
- Track weekly purchases and labor to make sure it aligns with budget projections
- Oversee financial reports, flagging any discrepancies in cost percentage
- Reconcile bank accounts for expenses & revenue
- Assist in monitoring and approving large purchases
- Generate ad hoc financial reports & analysis
Facilities Responsibilities:
- Schedule and track equipment maintenance & service contracts
- Coordinate and oversee equipment service calls and inspections in coordination with other manager departments
- Manage small repair projects onsite
- Become certified by FDNY (S-95) to troubleshoot a fire alarm control panel onsite
HR Responsibilities:
- Run weekly payroll through ADP with bookkeeping support
- Address employee inquiries related to HR & benefits
- Audit payroll & timekeeping systems (ADP & Toast)
- Oversee smooth onboarding for new hires
- Act as the point of contact for employee benefits
What We’re Looking For:
- Fulltime availability M-F
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an operations role within hospitality or a similar industry
- Strong communication & organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and collaborate with ownership & multiple departments
- Self-motivated & proactive problem solver
- Comfortable with basic accounting principles and working with bookkeeping firms

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
