We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all items are properly stored after cleaning.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including bussing tables and helping cooks with basic tasks.
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials appropriately to maintain a clean work environment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during peak service times.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks related to cooking, catering, or banquet services as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
