This role will support our environmental team on projects involving geological assessments, environmental impact evaluations, and sustainable land management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in field surveys and data collection related to geological formations, soil profiles, and hydrological features.
- Collaborate with staff to analyze geological data and contribute to environmental reports.
- Support the development of geological assessments and environmental impact reports.
- Participate in the assessment and mitigation of geological impacts associated with civil engineering projects.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Geology or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
- Interest in geological assessments and environmental impact evaluations.
- Familiarity with conducting fieldwork and geological surveys.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Detail-oriented, good organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable, dependable and able to work independently or within a team.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
