Responsibilities
- Assist project teams in executing tasks for transportation construction projects, aligning with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide clear guidance and direction to project teams, facilitating efficient task execution.
- Coordinate with multi-discipline support consultant teams throughout project development and construction phases.
- Assist in the development of innovative construction management techniques and support tools to enhance project delivery.
- Present new ideas and techniques to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project budget and schedule, monitoring quality control methods to maintain standards.
- Support proposal development, project scoping, and client relationship development efforts.
- Actively participate in design and construction review meetings, engaging with clients to address concerns and foster collaboration.
- Bachelor of Science degree in civil or transportation engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years’ diverse experience in roadway construction engineering and inspection.
- Proficient in SiteManager, Microsoft SharePoint and Office Suite, and scheduling software.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal oversight.
- Previous experience working with city municipalities.
- High level of accuracy in work product.
- Capability to technically develop members of project team.
- Must be able to work from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, or equivalent software.
