Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Oversee and coordinate project team members, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ensure projects comply with company standards, industry regulations, and quality expectations.
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Lead regular project status meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and coach project team members to support their professional growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of project management experience in engineering, construction, or a related industry.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of employment or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred.
- Preferred experience includes managing public works or large-scale infrastructure projects, acting as an owner’s representative on complex projects, and developing/executing project strategies and risk management plans.
- Key competencies include strong organizational and analytical skills, the ability to foster collaboration and teamwork in dynamic environments, and effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with overtime as needed.
