The Survey Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing survey operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing project budgets, and maintaining the quality of survey deliverables. Responsibilities
- Plans, directs, and coordinates work of the local survey department
- Provides guidance/direction to Survey Technicians and Field Crews
- Ensures compliance with TBPELS rules and regulations
- Prepares proposals
- Manages project budgets and client invoicing
- Responsible for quality control of drawings and legal descriptions prepared by others
- Adheres to corporate QA/QC guidelines and principles
- Manages, trains, and mentors other members of the Survey Department
Qualifications
- Registered in the state of Texas as a Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS)
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions independently in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
- Ability to handle complex issues/problems
- Ability to manage performance of Survey team members and handle personnel issues as appropriate or needed.
- Ability to work in and lead a team
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees in the organization, both verbally and written.
- Must be dependable and reliable
