Job Description:
This position provides office support, assisting in the preparation of survey projects, such as boundary surveys, subdivision plats, construction calculations, topographic and route projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform survey tasks under the direct guidance of the Survey Project Manager and Project Surveyor.
- Create basic drawings from field survey data, sketches, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Assist in preparing field packages, drawings, exhibits, and legal descriptions with detailed instructions.
- Compile, organize, and analyze survey data with supervision.
- Process field crew data and assist in creating base maps for field crews.
- Ensure data is accurate and formatted for review.
- Support deed research and simple calculations with direct oversight.
- Associate’s degree, certificate, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 0-4 years of experience in a survey technician or related role.
- Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D; MicroStation experience is a plus.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Dependable, reliable, and eager to grow in the survey field.
- Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm with overtime as needed.
