Overview
This position is responsible for providing technical support to engineers using AutoCAD Civil 3D for water/wastewater projects.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and/or revise construction and planning documents as well as exhibits within company standards from redlines for a variety of projects
- Coordinate and communicate with project team in engineering, production, design and management to meet overall project objectives and deadlines
- Understand and use established company standards for drafting including layer names, line and character styles, drawings and window names, and file names for sheet layout
- Analyze sketches, notes and other input material to determine and plan the best approach to develop and complete drawings with minimal supervision
- Inform Project Manager(s) of progress on assigned projects and request work when needed
- Maintain organized work area to allow access of project information by other team members
- Flexible in work assignments and team assignments
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Computer-Aided Design from a College or Technical school, or 3 years’ experience in a similar technician role using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- At least 3 years' experience using AutoCAD in a similar role within civil design in water/wastewater
- Good working knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy for high-quality work product
- Effective communications skills, both oral and written skills
- Highly motivated with the ability to work interdependently within a team environment
- Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or daily basis, as changes occur in project workload
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional overtime as requested or needed
