This role will support our environmental team on projects involving wildlife conservation, environmental impact assessments, and sustainable land management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in field surveys and data collection related to wildlife, vegetation, and habitats.
- Collaborate with staff to analyze ecological data and contribute to environmental technical reports and permit applications.
- Support the development of conservation plans and environmental impact assessments.
- Participate in the assessment and mitigation of environmental impacts of civil and environmental engineering projects.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Biology, Wildlife or Forest Management, Conservation, or related field (Master's degree a plus).
- Interest in wildlife conservation and environmental impact assessments.
- Familiarity with conducting fieldwork and ecological surveys. - Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Detail-oriented, good organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable, dependable and able to work independently or within a team.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
