This position is responsible for providing technical support to engineers using AutoCAD Civil 3D for site/commercial and residential land development projects.

This position is responsible for providing technical support to engineers using AutoCAD Civil 3D for site/commercial and residential land development projects.
What can you expect on a daily basis?
- Prepare and/or revise construction and planning documents as well as exhibits within company standards from redlines for a variety of projects
- Coordinate and communicate with project team in engineering, production, design and management to meet overall project objectives and deadlines
- Understand and use established company standards for drafting including layer names, line and character styles, drawings and window names, and file names for sheet layout
- Analyze sketches, notes and other input material to determine and plan the best approach to develop and complete drawings with minimal supervision
- Inform Project Manager(s) of progress on assigned projects and request work when needed
- Maintain organized work area to allow access of project information by other team members
- Flexible in work assignments and team assignments
- Associates Degree or Certificate of Completion in Computer-Aided Design / Applied Science, preferably with a civil design specialization
- Working land development design knowledge in AutoCAD, preferably with Civil 3D 2023 or current version
- Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
- Effective communications and interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
- Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needs
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional overtime
