Job Summary
">We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Truck Technician to join our team at Pape' Kenworth. As a Journeyman, you will be responsible for working on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks in the shop, ensuring complicated repairs are done accurately and timely.
The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks, including electronic trouble-shooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair. They will also possess basic computer knowledge, a Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one, self-motivation, assertiveness, excellent communication and customer relations skills, and the ability to work under little or no supervision.
Key Responsibilities
">- Perform complex repairs on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks
- Direct the work of other technician/mechanics and lead the shift in the Foreman's absence
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
