As a Behavior Specialist/ABA Therapist you will work under the supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts to implement programs that build communication skills, encourage independence, and promote social/emotional development.

- Opportunities to work in both the clinic and preschool settings as many of our clients will spend part of their day in one our preschool classrooms, practicing group learning skills, as well as social and language skills.
Daily Tasks Include:
- 1:1 behavior therapy with clients, developed and monitored by the supervising BCBA
- Collect skill acquisition data and behavior data to help track progress towards treatment goals
- Play! A huge part of the day as a behavior specialist is spent providing meaningful learning opportunities through play with each client.
- Work towards becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with the assistance of your supervising BCBA
- Maintain the safety and health of each client in your care
- Communicate with the clinical team and each client’s families
- Help keep the clinic clean and organized
Requirements:
- Have a high school diploma (college degree preferred)
- Experience working with children 18 months – 7 years in the school, home, or clinic setting as a teacher, caregiver, or therapist
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to lift 30 lbs, sit on the floor, walk, crawl and run in order to keep clients safe and effectively engaged during play-based ABA therapy.
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize tasks
- Strong work ethic and desire to work as part of a team
- Be able to assist with feeding, diapering/toileting and dressing, administering medication, as needed

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
