Job Description:
Paper Machinery Corporation is seeking a skilled Machine Wiring Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in machine wiring and be proficient with 480/24-volt systems. This position requires expertise in wiring machines based on schematics, understanding control wiring and PLCs, and the ability to work efficiently to meet production schedules. The Machine Wiring Electrician must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess their own tools. Additionally, the candidate must be able to complete assigned tasks on time and capable of lifting at least 50 pounds. Travel for this position is optional.
Responsibilities:
- Wire machines according to schematics and specifications
- Install and troubleshoot control wiring and PLCs
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Organize work tasks and prioritize assignments effectively
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a machine wiring electrician
- Proficiency with 480/24-volt systems
- Ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong understanding of control wiring principles and PLCs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Owns tools necessary for the job
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with industrial machinery installation and wiring
