What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Sales Executive position at Paperless Environments?

Our pVault software enables customers to efficiently manage their accounts payable processing through workflow automation, document management and accounting system integration. We are looking for a sales executive to be responsible for generating a pipeline and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, consistent follow up, mastery of the sales process, and negotiating contracts with potential clients. Applicants with a background or experience in accounting, construction, software sales, or technical/software sales engineer a big plus. To be successful in this role, you will need to have an understanding of the sales process and be highly organized, tech savvy, able to self-manage, and have superb interpersonal skills.
What you need to do:
- Prospect and qualify new sales leads
- Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
- Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company's products
- Track all sales activities and follow up in our CRM system
- Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects to meet or exceed sales revenue goals
- Prepare and submit sales proposals and follow to completion
- Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects, customers, resellers, and partners
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent relevant experience
- 2-4 years sales experience, with proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to self-motivate
- Great attitude, strong work ethic, and the energy & drive to succeed are a must
- Working knowledge of CRM systems and proficiency in MS Office
- Understanding of the construction business or finance/operations, with experience in AP/AR workflows, process automation, and content management, OCR, or compliance functions is a big plus. Also, software sales engineers, implementers, and technical trainers with customer facing experience will do very well.
Salary: OTE: $125,000 - $175,000 DOE

Work Location: Fully remote if not located near our offices in Baton Rouge or Portland
