Papich Construction is currently seeking a Weighmaster/Plant Administrator to join our team.

What You’ll Do…

The Weighmaster/Plant Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, weigh-in and -out of customer trucks, using our computerized weighing system to process and record tickets, and providing general office/administrative assistance and other support to plant operations management. The worksite is a construction environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Greet and direct visitors, respond to routine inquiries received by phone, email and in-person

· Instruct and direct truck drivers/customers to the appropriate area to load materials

· Weigh in and out trucks

· Operate computerized scale, determine charges/fees, accurately generate sales tickets

· Collect payment/billing information from customers

· Perform administrative tasks and provide support for plant/operations management: reconcile monies collected and perform bill prep, data entry, schedule calendar items and meetings, process forms, establish and maintain records and files, sort mail, prepare correspondence, run daily/weekly/monthly reports and distribute

· Execute pre-employment and new hire on-boarding

· Partner with Human Resources to keep lines of communication open to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data

· Order and stock office supplies

· Comply with all workplace safety policies, procedures, and rules

· Set a good example of initiative, efficiency, time management and productivity

· Other tasks and projects assigned

What You’ll Bring…

Required Qualifications:

· Punctual, dependable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule

· Ability to perform simple accounting procedures

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

· Strong mathematical skills, organizational skills, and an acute attention to detail

· Practical time management skills with the ability to prioritize work, adjust priorities as circumstances dictate, and meet deadlines

· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

· Dedicated to high quality customer service delivery and integrity

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma/GED

· 2-3 years related administrative office experience and/or training

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bilingual – English/Spanish preferred

Work Schedule:

· Full-time

· Monday through Friday

· Weekends as needed

Important Notes:

· This position is based in Orosi, CA, and requires full-time, in-office/on-site presence. This is not a remote or hybrid position.

· We are seeking qualified candidates that are available to start immediately.

· We strongly prefer local candidates or those with prior plans to relocate.

Work Environment:

Indoor and outdoor as required. Frequent sitting, standing, walking and carrying objects up to 25 lbs is required. At times will be working around large construction equipment, must be safety conscience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
