Classified - Instructional Paraprofessional - General Application for 2024-25 School Year
All general applications received will be considered for all open paraprofessional postion at the Elementary and Secondary levels.
Job Summary : The instructional para will work beside the classroom teacher to offer structure, management and smooth flow of activities to ensure an environment suitable for learning.
Qualifications : High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, students and school staff. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to operate a computer. Demonstrates the ability to organize time and prioritize tasks under frequent time constraints.
Application Procedure : As a current employee of Papillion La Vista Community Schools you must submit an internal application. However, if you are applying from one classification to another such as a classified employee to certified employee or Paraprofessional to Custodian, you are asked to submit an External Application with the district so that we will have the additional information needed to accurately evaluate your qualifications for this position.
