Job Summary
Papio's Food & Spirits is a family-owned upscale casual restaurant looking for dependable, outgoing, talented servers to expand our team of amazing people! We have spent months renovating the restaurant and fine-tuning our restaurant
Daily Expectations
- Highlight daily lunch and/or dinner specials
- Take accurate food & beverage orders of our extensive via Toast POS System
- Be a dependable team player in search for a stable, growing local business to employ with
- Be responsible with server outs and expected duties (clean workspaces, roll silverware, restock items, etc)
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines at all times.
- Provide accurate and exciting information to guests regarding menu items, events, and offerings
- Collaborate with kitchen staff & hosts for guaranteed success of our team goals
Requirements
- Previous experience preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety practices & proper food handling techniques
- Preferred experience with Toast POS System, Ontappd, PourMyBeer & personal cash bank system
- Excellent communication skills & personality with a priority for positive guest experiences
- Basic math skills for processing orders and handling payments effectively (You will be using your own bank as well as Toast POS Systems)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, high volume restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed (Closed every Monday
