What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Worker position at Papoose Children's Center?
We are looking for a qualified, experienced and caring individual to join our team of Daycare Teachers. Prior experience working with children in a preschool environment is helpful, but not essential. You will work closely with other teachers and the director to create classroom activities that help our youngest students to grow. Candidates should be patient, capable of dealing with difficult children and interested in making a positive impact on the community.
Responsibilities:
- Work on a schedule.
- Be friendly with children and parents.
- Demonstrate how to interact with children.
- Be a role model for the children.
- Help children understand and cooperate with the rules of their classroom.
- Teach children how to behave in social situations.
- Teach basic academic skills such as reading, writing, and math.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
